First Draft Ident
This is the first draft of my ident for 'The grid.' Looking at the breif I decided to make sure my text wasnt overlapping and too close together becuase it looked odd, I need to include music and I also need to think carefully about how it is going to last 30 seconds.
To improve on this I am going to sort out my text to make sure it doesnt overlap any of the other words so it is made nice and clear. I am going to use the animate part and make sure that i make the letters spaced out accordingly. To add music into my piece I will need to import my ident to my computer and then open it up on premiere so it is then easier for me to add the music and so you can hear it on the final piece. To make sure i fill out the thirty seconds i will slow down the speed the text comes onto the screen.

Focus Group + questions

1. Do you know what Anti-Piracy is, if so what ?
I found out that they both know what anti piracy is and they beleive it is when you watch or down load music illeagally.
2. Have you seen an anti-piracy ad before? What did you think of it ?
They have both seen anti-piracy ads before and they both thought they were helpful and it helped them not get interested in piracy as much.
3. How do you think Piracy can be reduced?
They both thought that piracy could be reduced by reducing the price of DVDS and online streaming sites such as netflix,
4. Why do you think people pirate?
People Pirate becuase they cant afford the luxuries of most people or they are too lazy. That is what Tom and Francis though the case was.
5. Have you pirated a movie before? If so what lead you to doing it ?
They have both pirated a movie before becuase they couldnt find it in a shop and they didnt go and see it at the cinema and they desperately wanted to see it.
Within our focus group we discovered that all three of us all have massively different opinions and that we have all pirated a movie at some point in our lives. We each found out we pirated for similar reasons too becuase we couldnt actually get out to see the film so we pirated it. We all know waht piracy is but the massive difference betweenthe three of us is how we think it canbe reduced and why people think they do pirate movies. This helps me create my advert becuase I know i Need to express their answers from the focus group into my advert so it will persuade them not to pirate and it will be able to show the dangers of pirating.

I will be cresting my Idemt on the Macs in our schools media rooms becuase nowhere else around the school allows us the facilities to use the Macs.
